Part Of Me
In order to get the vocals right for this one, I enlisted the help of Ronnie Underwood, a local unknown singer/songwriter with a massive bass register. Some sloppy strumming and you've got yourself a song.

Me Think
I wrote this piece for a documentary film about muslim citizens in NYC. Directly following the 9/11attacks, the people in the movie were arrested and held without trial for months or years. The expirience of loneliness & solitude was the common theme.

Good Book
RANA went to a farmhouse in Acworth, NH late 2001 to write music and play Trivial Pursuit. This song was written there, minutes before, but it sounds like we've been playing this groove for hours. You can hear the wood stove in the quiet parts.

Let It Shine
This is a Christian song. Though I am not religious myself, I wanted to take a shot at writing a good song about Jesus. Props to my female choir of Ali, Liat, Kelly Scarr and my mother, Joanne Southern.

Famous Tune
Since I've never written a song that got much airplay, I've decided that I'm lucky because it would probably be awful. This song is why. I also get to take a shot at The Who, which is band that deserves a lot more ridicule.
